Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in opportunities that align with my current path in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. I am seeking an internship or position where I can contribute immediately through strong work ethic, reliability, and real-world operational experience, while also growing my technical skills in a professional environment. My goal is to earn a role that can develop into a long-term position with a company that values consistency, learning, and measurable results.

Before returning to school, I built a solid foundation in high-paced business environments, including leadership and operations roles in grocery and retail. I have managed inventory accuracy, ordering and replenishment, merchandising standards, and customer service in settings where small mistakes become expensive quickly. That background shaped how I work: I follow systems, document details, communicate clearly, and take ownership of outcomes.

At UW–Green Bay, I’m building on that foundation by developing technical skills in computer science and programming. I’m focused on becoming someone who not only learns fast, but also improves processes, supports teams, and delivers dependable results. I’m especially interested in roles where technology intersects with real operations: data handling, automation, web systems, process improvement, and tool-building that makes work simpler and more accurate.
